My name is Jessie, I am the Owner and Maker of P's Essentials Natural Skincare.

 I was raised on a farm by a very diligent family in the heart of Renfrew County Ontario. I give much gratitude for the gathering, hunting, and resourceful lifestyle as it grew my passion for botanical healing. My goal is to make a difference, offering clean products to those also passionate about Toxin-Free living so I incorporated these magical ingredients into natural and skincare products so others can benefit as well.

In 2019 while carrying my first child, I really wanted to avoid harmful products at this point more than ever. After hours of dedicated research I found 80% of commercial skincare products are loaded with toxins. For example, the term “fragrance” or “parfum(e)” on an ingredient list usually means a mixture of toxins, since over 3,000 chemicals are used in fragrances. It's less expensive for manufacturers to use but has been proven to have a negative impact on consumers health. Our skin is our largest organ protecting our body from harm, every day we are exposed to chemicals that affect our health that we can't do much about.

Who wants to intentionally lather up with even more chemicals? 

Eliminating what we can is essential! This made me VERY eager to begin creating my own personal care products for baby and I at home! I could tell immediately I found another of many passions,  thanks to my little "P" on the way. <3
